Faculty are another key part of the  CARE/BIT team process, bringing with them the knowledge and experience needed to navigate the academic space. Typically, faculty come from psychology, criminology, and introductory liberal arts courses where they skill sets lend an added benefit to the team’s overall expertise. During this session, the instructor will discuss the utility of the faculty member as a liaison position with other faculty and academic departments in terms of advertising, marketing and problem solving. Common examples of how faculty can be helpful in the  CARE/BIT process will be shared as well as useful supplemental materials, for faculty to serve as an effective member of the team.
