Title IX coordinators address concerns related to sexual assault, harassment, stalking, and domestic/interpersonal violence. Title IX staff bring a deep background in critical thinking and process and subject matter expertise that benefits the team in multiple ways. While sexual violence is an area that requires a careful awareness related to privacy and information sharing, coordination with the team is made easier when Title IX staff are part of the overall  CARE/BIT process and training. In particular, areas of overlap include interviewing skills, assessing risk, and developing supportive measures. The course contains useful supplemental materials, organizations, and references for Title IX staff to further their education on how they can function as an effective member of the team.
